Many of you may have already heard of the IRS requesting records from All Saints Episcopal Church of Pasadena, California. It seems the church leaders have expressed ANTI-WAR views from the pulpit and may have violated their TAX EXEMPT status by doing so according to the IRS.
Fortunately, Los Angeles religous organizations to include CHristians,Jews and Muslims to name a few, have banded together in protest.
This IRS action is nothing more than government intimidation. But I hope this is something everyone pays attention to. You become tax exempt, you lose you freedom. So much for democracy and freedom. |
