Eid-ul-Adha 1426 AH / 2006 CE 

 

In western part of Richmond area, Eid-ul-Adha prayer and Zabiha took place on Wednesday January 11, 2006 at Tuckahoe* in Goochland county.

 

Eid Prayer: In a weather resistant tent with heaters and separate areas for Sisters & Brothers.
First Prayer 8:00 AM (Sharp)
Second Prayer 9:30 AM
Sacrifice: started after the first prayer & Kutbah (Sermon).  Some farmers delivered the Zabiha (animals) in the morning.  Muslim reserved their Zabiha before the Eid.

 

Zuhr Prayer and Lunch:

 

12:30 PM Zuhr Prayer
1:00 PM Lunch (eat Zabiha meat with pre cooked food from the community)
