Eid-ul-Adha 1427 AH / 2006 CE

In western part of Richmond area, Eid-ul-Adha prayer and Zabiha was on Sunday December 31, 2006 at Tuckahoe* in Goochland county.

Eid Prayer: In a weather resistant tent with heaters and separate areas for Sisters & Brothers.

First Prayer 8:00 AM (Sharp)

Second Prayer 9:30 AM

Sacrifice: started after the first prayer & Kutbah (Sermon). Some farmers delivered the Udhiya in the morning. Muslims reserved them before the Eid.

Zuhr Prayer and Lunch:

12:30 PM Zuhr Prayer

1:00 PM Lunch (eat Udhiya meat with pre cooked food from the community)
